The Clippers assigned Preston to the G League's Ontario Clippers on Monday.
Preston was active for the Clippers' most recent game Sunday, playing the final three minutes of garbage time and recording no statistics in a 121-100 win over the Rockets. The 23-year-old rookie will now head back to Ontario in search of extended playing time.
