Duane Washington: Cut by New York

Washington (thumb) was waived by the Knicks on Monday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

The Knicks will part ways with Washington after he was diagnosed over the weekend with a significant right thumb injury that will likely keep him out for around two months. New York will sign forward Jaylen Martin to fill their open two-way roster spot.
