Brooks was placed in the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols and won't be available for Sunday's game against the Kings.
Brooks entered the protocols along with De'Anthony Melton and Yves Pons, bringing the team total up to four. Memphis will now be without one of its top scorers in Brooks, likely for multiple games. John Konchar should slide into the starting five while Brooks is sidelined.
