Jackson (hamstring) is out for Friday's preseason game versus the Heat, Drew Hill of The Daily Memphian reports.
Jackson has yet to play this preseason while dealing with a low-grade hamstring strain. However, Jackson is expected to suit up for Memphis' regular-season opener against the Jazz on Oct. 23.
