Hawks' Jarrett Jack: Won't be ready for start of regular season

Jack (knee) will not be ready for the start of the regular season, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Jack has been nursing a surgically-repaired right knee since getting surgery in January, and the team hasn't even been able to ease him into preseason games. Now, with Jack missing the start of the regular reason and having no clear timetable for recovery, Malcolm Delaney and Will Bynum will officially be competing for the backup point guard spot behind starter Dennis Schroeder.
