Atlanta recalled Cooper from the G League's College Park Skyhawks on Monday.
The Hawks will bring back Cooper as well as fellow two-way player Skylar Mays and rookie first-round pick Jalen Johnson ahead of the team's next game Wednesday against the Magic. Cooper has appeared in both of Atlanta's last two contests, but he's logged a combined seven minutes in total. With Trae Young set to miss time after recently entering the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols, Cooper could be featured in the rotation Wednesday, but he likely won't see a major uptick in playing time.
