Iwundu signed a 10-day contract via hardship exemption with the Hawks on Wednesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Iwundu spent time with the Mavericks and Pelicans last season, averaging 2.4 points and 2.2 rebounds across 41 total appearances. However, this year, the 2017 second-round pick was waived by the Hornets before the start of the regular season and had remained a free agent until now. He is expected to serve as a depth option during his stint in Atlanta.
