The Heat signed Martin to a two-way contract Tuesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Martin spent his first two seasons playing alongside his brother Cody Martin in Charlotte, but he was waived his offseason. Last year, Martin appeared in 53 games and averaged 5.0 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists across 15.4 minutes per game. He now joins Gabe Vincent and Marcus Garrett as two-way players for the Heat. His fit with Miami is curious, and barring injuries, he will likely play primarily in the G League.
