Jones was revealed Thursday to have tested positive for COVID-19, though he's been deemed asymptomatic and is expected to join the Heat in Orlando when the season restarts in July, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Jones is the first member of the Heat to test positive for the coronavirus since the league-wide shutdown in mid-March, but he joins a group of at least five other known NBA players who tested positive this week. The forward will go into self-isolation for the next two weeks; he'll miss out on some training time as a result, though he could still be ready to join the team by July 9, the projected date the Heat are scheduled to make the move to Orlando.
