Dedmon suffered a left knee injury and won't return to Thursday's contest against the Pistons, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.
Chiang reports that Dedmon grabbed his left knee as he fell to the court before walking directly to the locker room. In his absence, Omer Yurtseven and KZ Okpala will likely see increased roles for the remainder of the contest.
