Charlotte transferred McGowens to the G League's Greensboro Swarm on Monday.
McGowens didn't appear in any games during his latest stint with the NBA squad and will presumably get extended run while in the G League. In three games with Greensboro, the 20-year-old has averaged 23.7 points, 6.3 assists and 5.0 rebounds in 39.8 minutes.
