Martin exited with 7:11 remaining in the first quarter of Friday's game and did not return due to an apparent injury, Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports. He finished with zero points (0-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound and one assist over five minutes.

Martin was deemed doubtful to return to Friday's game shortly after checking out of the contest and being replaced by Josh Okogie midway through the first quarter. Prior to the game, Martin was listed on the Hornets' injury report with left groin tightness, so that could be the injury that forced his early exit. Whatever the case, Martin's availability for the second leg of a back-to-back set Saturday against the Pelicans is now in jeopardy.
