The Hornets assigned Bouknight to the G League's Greensboro Swarm on Wednesday.
Charlotte sent all three of the rookies on its 15-man roster -- Bouknight, first-round selection Kai Jones and second-round pick JT Thor -- to the G League ahead of the Swarm's game Friday against the Lakeland Magic. Bouknight has made just five appearances at the NBA level in 2021-22, logging nine minutes in total.
