Monk has been reinstated by the NBA following a drug-related suspension in February, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports.

Monk was suspended indefinitely Feb. 26 -- roughly two weeks before the league suspended the regular season. Few details regarding the nature of Monk's violation have emerged, but the Hornets announced Monday that the former Kentucky standout has officially been reinstated. The Hornets will not be among the 22 teams heading to Orlando next month, however, so Monk will have to wait until the start of the 2020-21 season to return to action.
