Jazz's Boris Diaw: Plays 29 minutes in second straight start

Diaw produced seven points (3-3 FG, 1-1 3Pt), five assists, two rebounds and two steals across 29 minutes in Monday's 112-103 win over the Timberwolves.

The 29 minutes were Diaw's most since the season opener against the Trail Blazers, a game he also started in place of Derrick Favors (knee). With Favors out until further notice after being diagnosed with a bone bruise in the same left knee that troubled him earlier this season, Diaw has taken back starting duties at power forward in the last two games, but has averaged only 4.5 points, 4.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.0 steal in 24.0 minutes per game. He and Trey Lyles will continue to split the playing time at the position for the duration of Favors' absence, with Lyles offering the greater fantasy upside of the two.
