Jazz's Rodney Hood: Scores nine points, adds five assists in Monday's win

Hood contributed nine points (4-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt), five assists, three rebounds and one steal across 32 minutes in Monday's 112-103 win over the Timberwolves.

It's perhaps no coincidence that Hood's production has taken a hit over the last three games with backcourt mate George Hill returning to action following a bout with a sprained thumb, as the shooting guard has averaged just 11.0 points per contest during that span. His scoring has been partially depressed thanks to an uncharacteristically low 29.4 percent mark from three-point range, and while some recovery is expected in that department, Hood may have trouble replicating the 17.5 points per game he was averaging through the Jazz's first 13 games now that both Hill and Gordon Hayward are back to full health.
