Gay and the Jazz agreed to a two-year contract Tuesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

The veteran wing will jump from the Spurs to the Jazz, adding depth at both forward spots for the team with the best record in the league last season. Gay has rebounded nicely from a torn Achilles back in 2016, appearing in at least 63 games in each of the last three seasons with the Spurs. In 2020-21, Gay averaged 11.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and a career-high 1.7 made threes per game.
