Mudiay agreed Tuesday with the Kings on a 10-day contract and is expected to be available Wednesday against the Clippers, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
The 2015 lottery pick hasn't appeared in the NBA since the 2019-20 season and most recently suited up for Lithuanian club Zalgiris Kaunas before he was released in early November. With the Kings expected to be without several key players Wednesday due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols -- including three rotation guards in De'Aaron Fox, Terence Davis and Davion Mitchell -- Mudiay could immediately get minutes off the bench for Sacramento.
