Kings' Malik Monk: Won't play Wednesday

Monk (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Hawks, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports.

Monk was deemed questionable for the contest due to left ankle soreness, and he'll wind up taking a seat. With Zach LaVine (thigh) sidelined, Russell Westbrook and Keon Ellis could see more action. Monk's next chance to play will come Friday against the Timberwolves.
