Kings' Matt Barnes: Dealing with knee issue

Kings coach Dave Joerger said Monday that Barnes "dinged" his knee last week, Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee reports.

The injury prevented Barnes from taking part in Saturday's scrimmage and could sideline him for the Kings' preseason opener Tuesday against the Lakers. It's not considered anything serious, however, so any absence for Barnes shouldn't last beyond this week.
