Casspi is part of a an agreed upon five-player trade from the Kings to the Pelicans, sources said Sunday, Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reports.

Casspi is averaging 5.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game over 22 games (two starts). It's uncertain if he'll actually play in New Orleans or have his contract bought out, as DeMarcus Cousins is clearly the trophy in this huge deal. If Casspi ends up in New Orleans he might fill the role of Langston Galloway, who was the backup shooting guard. He could also see some time at small forward, where New Orleans isn't quite as deep with only Solomon Hill in the way.
