Holmes (illness) will be available for Wednesday's season opener against Portland, Kings reporter James Ham reports.

The big man missed a practice over the weekend due to an illness, but he was back with the team Monday and went through another practice session Tuesday. Coming off of a season in which he set career highs in points, rebounds, assists and blocks per game, as well as free-throw percentage, Holmes enters 2021-22 with his fantasy stock at an all-time high. The 28-year-old will begin the season locked in as the Kings' starting center.
