The Lakers converted Olivari's Exhibit 10 contract to a two-way deal Saturday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Los Angeles will open up a two-way spot for Olivari, an undrafted rookie guard out of Xavier who impressed during the preseason. Over his four exhibition outings, the 23-year-old averaged 8.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.0 three-pointers and 1.0 steals in 13.4 minutes while shooting 52.2 percent from the field. Olivari is likely to see the bulk of his playing time with the G League's South Bay Lakers in 2024-25.
