Horton-Tucker struggled in Friday's 130-108 loss to the Celtics to the tune of two points (0-6 FG, 0-1 3PT, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and three assists across 27 minutes.
Horton-Tucker was turning heads in his first three appearances after debuting in the 13th game of the season for the Lakers with averages of 23.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.3 steals, 0.7 blocks and 2.7 triples across 34.4 minutes per game. While it was expected to see those numbers coming back to earth, he should certainly produce better than his effort Friday going forward. It should be noted that this was his first game playing with LeBron James, who was returning from an eight-game absence, but his 27 minutes signal he will continue to see a healthy workload.
