Horton-Tucker (COVID-19 health and safety protocols) finished with three points (1-13 FG, 0-8 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist in Tuesday's 108-90 loss to the Suns.
The Lakers received solid outings from their two healthy co-stars in LeBron James (34 points on 13-for-19 shooting from the field) and Russell Westbrook (22 points, 10-for-20 from the field), but the lack of production from the supporting cast allowed the Suns to cruise to a comfortable win. Horton-Tucker and Isaiah Thomas were the main culprits for Los Angeles, as the two combined to hit just two of their 24 field-goal attempts on the evening. Though Horton-Tucker disappointed in his return from a three-game absence, he'll likely benefit from elevated minutes and usage for another game or two while the Lakers wait for the likes of Malik Monk, Avery Bradley and Austin Reaves to exit the health and safety protocols.
