Landry Shamet: Parts ways with New York

The Knicks waived Shamet (shoulder) on Saturday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Shamet was already expected to miss the start of the regular season after dislocating his right shoulder. The Knicks are expected to try to bring Shamet back once he recovers from his injury.
