Sanders' return to professional basketball following a two-year hiatus didn't go as planned. He ended up taking part in just five games with the Cavaliers after being signed late in the season, averaging only 2.6 minutes per contest. Sanders wasn't much more impressive in his D-League appearances, so the Cavs will cut bait and address their lack of depth at center by instead signing the 7-foot-3 Walter Tavares. Sanders should get a look from teams ahead of training camp next season, although he likely won't be guaranteed a roster spot wherever he lands.
