Magic's Elfrid Payton: Continues excellent play against the Nets

Payton scored 22 points (8-14 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT) and added 11 assists, five rebounds, one steal and one block in 33 minutes during Thursday's 115-107 win over the Nets.

Payton triple-doubled against the Nets Saturday, but followed that with a lackluster performance against the Cavaliers Tuesday. Payton is a relatively inconsistent player, but he is nonetheless having a good season with an even better second half. Since the All-Star break, he is averaging 3.4 rebounds and 2.7 assists more than he was before the break.
