Suggs (illness) is "trending toward playing" in Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Spurs, Cody Taylor of USA Today reports.
Suggs missed some time over the last few days while battling a non-COVID illness, but he's back practicing with the team and is on track to play Wednesday night, per head coach Jamahl Mosley. Mosley has not confirmed his starting lineup for the opener, but Suggs -- the fifth overall pick in the 2021 Draft -- will have a good chance to occupy one of the backcourt spots, perhaps alongside last year's first-round pick, Cole Anthony.
