With Mo Bamba (ankle/COVID-19 protocols) out, Lopez moved into the starting lineup alongside Wendell Carter, who left the game in the second quarter with an apparent lower-leg injury. Bamba's absence alone pushed Lopez into an increased role, but if Carter misses time going forward -- a likely scenario -- the veteran could be looking at an extended run in the starting five.
