Morris agreed to a contract buyout with the Spurs on Thursday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Upon clearing waivers, Morris will be free to join a team of his choosing, and he'll likely receive some interest from postseason-contending teams. However, it's unlikely he'll find himself in a situation where he garners meaningful minutes, so he can safely remain on the waiver wire in most leagues.
