Markelle Fultz: Headed to Philly

Fultz will be drafted first overall by the Sixers, who have worked out a deal with Boston for the first pick in the draft, Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Fultz worked out for the Sixers on Saturday, an indication that a trade between Philadelphia and its division rival for the first-overall pick was in the works. The deal, which was first reported by David Aldridge of NBA.com, is expected to be finalized Monday. Aldridge reports the Sixers will send to Boston its third-overall pick in the 2017 draft and at least one future first-round pick. One piece of those future considerations going to the Celtics is expected to be Philadelphia's 2018 first-rounder they had received from the Lakers, via the Suns, as part of a three-team deal executed in 2015.
