Omoruyi scored 33 points (12-20 FG, 7-11 3Pt, 1-2 FT) to go with 10 rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block in 40 minutes during Thursday's 115-99 win over the Hustle.
The rookie out of Oregon had his best performance of the season while he led Texas to its fifth victory of the season. Omoruyi impressed with his outside shooting, drilling seven triples while shooting 63.6 percent clip from deep. The forward is on a two-way contract this season so it will be interesting to see if this performance leads to him getting called back up to Dallas' main roster sooner rather than later.
