Green (COVID-19 health and safety protocols) chipped in nine points (3-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, 10 assists and two steals across 26 minutes during Monday's 132-117 win over Portland.
Green returned from a four-game absence to log his most minutes of the season. The second-year forward finished with a surprising 10 assists after failing to exceed two dimes in any of his previous 17 contests. In fact, Green's previous career-best mark was four assists against Cleveland last season. There's no reason to expect this prolific passing performance to be more than an aberration, so it's probably unnecessary to target Green on the waiver wire.
