Chriss agreed Monday with the Mavericks on a 10-day contract, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports.
With Dallas down several players due to injury and a couple more for COVID-19 health and safety protocols, Chriss will join the roster on a hardship exemption and restore some depth in the frontcourt. The 2016 first-round pick has bounced around the league over the last several years, spending time with Phoenix, Cleveland, Houston, Golden State and, most recently, Portland, who waived him in training camp.
