Pinson agreed to a contract with the Mavericks on Sunday, joining the team on a hardship exemption, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
After being cut by Boston in training camp, Pinson has spent the 2021-22 campaign with the G League's Maine Celtics, averaging 16.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.4 assists in 32.9 minutes per game. He'll serve as additional depth for the shorthanded Mavericks, with his team debut potentially coming Tuesday against the Timberwolves.
