Durant entered the league's COVID-19 health and safety protocols and won't play Saturday against the Magic, Greg Logan of Newsday reports.

With Durant becoming the latest member of the Nets roster to enter the protocols, Brooklyn is left with just eight available players Saturday. Durant had already been scheduled to sit out Saturday with a sore right ankle, but his entry into the protocol means he'll likely be sidelined for the second half of the back-to-back set Sunday against the Nuggets. And unless Durant tests out of the protocol early, he'll be at risk of missing all three of the Nets' games during the upcoming week.
