Johnson tallied eight points (4-6 FG, 0-2 FT), nine rebounds and an assist across 27 minutes in Friday's 102-84 defeat against the Stockton Kings. He also had five steals and three blocks in the game.
Johnson stepped up after Udoka Azubuike went down with an ankle injury early in Friday's game, and he posted team-highs in steals and blocks and came second in rebounds. He, Brendan Bailey and Gerard Tarin will likely be given a more significant role in the team while Azubuike is out.
