Nuggets' Jameer Nelson: Stays hot with 17 points in Wednesday's loss

Nelson tallied 17 points (5-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-6 FT), eight assists and five rebounds across 38 minutes in Wednesday's 106-98 loss to the Heat.

Nelson has turned back the clock while starting at shooting guard the past three games with Will Barton (ankle) and Gary Harris (foot) out. He's averaged 19.7 points, 8.0 assists and 3.7 rebounds per game in those contests, and has also been logging some time at point guard when Emmanuel Mudiay is off the court. While Nelson's fantasy value could very well dry up as soon as Barton returns, he'll make for a solid short-term option for as long as he sticks in a high-minute starting role.
