Duarte (shoulder) is inactive for Wednesday's contest against the Pistons, James Boyd of The Indianapolis Star reports.
The rookie out of Oregon will miss his second straight contest Wednesday night after initially being viewed as questionable to make his return to the lineup. Justin Holiday started in Duarte's absence and recorded eight points (3-10 FG, 2-7 3Pt), three rebounds and two assists in 31 minutes. Expect Holiday to slide back into the starting role for Indiana with Duarte out once again. The sharpshooting wing's next chance to return comes Thursday in Charlotte.
