Brooks signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Pelicans on Tuesday, Christian Clark of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
An undrafted rookie out of Washington, Brooks made four appearances for the Pelicans during the Las Vegas Summer League, averaging 9.8 points in 21.1 minutes per game. He gets to compete for an Opening Day roster spot during training camp but will likely join the G League's Birmingham Squadron to begin his rookie campaign.
