Williamson said Thursday that he feels like he's in good shape entering the Orlando restart, Jake Madison of Locked On Pelicans reports.

Williamson noted that he was able to do on-court workouts "every day" with his stepfather, so he feels confident about his conditioning level as the Pelicans begin to ramp up their preparation for the Orlando restart. The No. 1 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft had a torrid start to his career when he debuted in January, posting averages of 23.6 points and 6.8 rebounds through his first 19 games. Over his final 11 contests, Williamson turned 31.8 minutes per game into 26.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 0.9 steals.
