Baynes (nose) won't play in Wednesday's preseason finale against the Raptors, Jake Chapman of the Pistons Radio Network reports.

Baynes suffered a broken nose during practice Tuesday, which required surgery. He'll be held out Wednesday while he recovers from the procedure and gets fitted for a mask, but he's not expected to miss more than a few days of practice beyond that. The expectation is he'll be ready for the Pistons' Oct. 26 season opener against the Raptors.
