The Pistons list Hayes (thumb) as doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Bucks.
Per James L. Edwards III of The Athletic, head coach Dwane Casey said earlier this week that Hayes would be sidelined for both halves of the Pistons' Tuesday/Wednesday back-to-back set, but Detroit seemingly isn't closing the door completely on the second-year point guard suiting up in Milwaukee. Unless he shows dramatic improvement leading up to the 8 p.m. ET tipoff, however, Hayes will most likely be sidelined for a third straight game. Cory Joseph (ankle), who is listed as probable, started the past two contests in place of Hayes and averaged 7.0 points, 8.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 0.5 triples in 36.5 minutes.
