Pistons' Reggie Jackson: Won't play Monday

Jackson (back) won't play in Monday's game against Washington, Rod Beard of The Detroit News reports.

Jackson hasn't played since Oct. 24 while battling back inflammation, but the point guard looks as though he may have reached the day-to-day phase of his prolonged recovery. Coach Dwane Casey said last week that Jackson's return "could be any day," per Keith Langlois of the Pistons' official site, so the 29-year-old seemingly has a shot to make it back before January concludes.
