Pistons' Stanley Johnson: Test results on foot come back clean

Johnson's precautionary MRI and CAT scan on his foot revealed no significant injuries Monday, Rod Beard of The Detroit News reports.

Johnson's foot injury was first announced Monday prior to the team's preseason tipoff with Milwaukee. Coach Stan Van Gundy declared Johnson "fine" during his press conference after the conclusion of Monday's game, so there's not much reason to believe Johnson will have trouble making himself available in time for the season opener Oct. 26 in Toronto, despite sitting out Monday's game.
