Achiuwa cleared the league's health and safety protocols ahead of Tuesday's contest against the 76ers, but the Raptors opted to let the big man regain his conditioning before thrusting him back into game action. The 2020 first-round pick has played only one game since Dec. 5, as he was first sidelined for four games due to a shoulder injury and most recently missed two games due to COVID-19 protocols. However, before he missed six of his last seven games, Achiuwa had started six straight contests and averaged 8.8 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists across 31.8 minutes during that stretch. The Raptors are starting to return to full strength, so it's unclear what his role will be if he ultimately returns to the court Friday.
