Raptors' Thaddeus Young: Sent to Toronto in Dragic deal

Young was traded to the Raptors on Thursday, along with Drew Eubanks and a 2022 second-round pick, in exchange for Goran Dragic and a protected 2022 first-round pick, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Young arrived in San Antonio over the summer as part of the DeMar DeRozan trade with Chicago, but he was never truly a part of Gregg Popovich's regular rotation. The veteran appeared in only 26 games, logging a career-low 14.3 minutes per contest. Chances are, he'll be given more regular opportunities to contribute in Toronto, but he joins a crowded frontcourt rotation. Unless the Raptors offload a player or two before the deadline, fantasy expectations for Young should be tempered.
