Watanabe (calf) was a full participant during Monday's practice and could be in line to make his season debut Wednesday in Memphis, Doug Smith of the Toronto Star reports.
Watanabe was listed as doubtful heading into Sunday's matchup, indicating that there was some slight progress being made. However, his full practice Monday is definitely a bigger step in the right direction. Last year, his first season with Toronto, the 6-foot-9 forward made 50 appearances and averaged 4.4 points and 3.2 rebounds across 14.5 minutes per game.
