Rockets' Bobby Brown: To re-sign with Rockets Friday

Brown is expected to re-sign with the Rockets on Friday, Mark Berman of Fox 26 Houston reports.

With Donatas Motiejunas expected to sign with the Rockets earlier in December, the team opted to cut ties with Brown in order to open a roster spot. However, with Motiejunas' deal falling through, they'll bring the veteran guard back on board, which is expected to become official on Friday. Brown will be no more than a depth option at point guard, sharing bench reps with Tyler Ennis behind the likes of Patrick Beverley and James Harden when he's on the ball.
